Given the year we’ve had, it is expected that many in the community have a degree of anxiety, social anxiety or depression. Post-natal depression as well as high functioning depression are also conditions that seem to be overlooked these days.
Our experienced staff at Baylife medical appreciate the sensitivity and support required around seeking help. We understand that taking that first step of seeking help is difficult. Consider our fast-tracked patient flow, where you can seek help with minimum interaction.

Turn up at appointment time and have a seat in our waiting room
Check-in on your phone, to let the doctor know that you are here
Then just wait until an experienced health practitioner calls you into a calm and serene room, where your concerns will be gently discussed and a plan formulated.
When you are done, you are able to leave and organize payment through the same app on your phone.
Follow up can also be arranged via telehealth.
If medication is required, we can arrange for it to be picked up on-site as well.

We currently stock a wide range of vaccinations and are equipped to administer them on-site.

We have both Pfizer (Comirnaty) and AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria).
Our Covid-19 vaccination days currently are Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays.
We are also offering booster shots (contact us for an eligibility check)

All vaccinations will be uploaded to AIR (Australian Immunisation Register) within minutes of your visit so that you can access the record through the Mygov or Medicare websites/apps and finally get your long awaited haircut!
Currently recommended by NSW Health for patients aged 70 to 79 years of age.
The risk of developing shingles and it’s potential complications are not pleasant, so why not book in and get immunised?
By having this vaccination, you strongly reduce the risk of developing shingles, or if you still do develop it, it will be at a significantly reduced severity, with a reduced risk of complications as well.

We provide the currently recommended (by NSW Health) childhood vaccines from 6 weeks of age to age 4 years

There’s also a handy app to download for your smart phone where you can keep track of which ones you’ve done and will remind you when your child’s next immunisations are due. You can find the link here; Save the Date to Vaccinate!
We are also able to update your child’s blue book and will upload the vaccination information straight to Medicare.
In case your school-aged family member has missed any vaccinations at school, we are able to provide them at our practice.
Appointments are also available on Weekends or after school hours.
The information will be uploaded to Medicare via the Australian Immunisation Register.
The recomended by RANZCOG (Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists) and ATAGI (Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation) for pregnant women to receive the Pfizer mRNA vaccine (Comirnarty) is stated here. This is because the risk of severe outcomes from COVID-19 is significantly higher for pregnant women and their unborn baby.
It is also recommended to consider the immunisation as part of pre-pregnancy care.

Q.1 What’s the difference between a vaccination and an immunisation?
A.1 A vaccination is the substance that is injected (or ingested, or inhaled) into your body to provide an immune response.
An immunisation is the response your body has to that substance (vaccination) which then helps to boost your immune system against the specific illness.
Q.2 If I have an immunisation, does that mean I will never catch that illness?
A.2 An immunisation to a specific illness or disease will mean that your immunity is equipped to counteract the illness in question. Occasionally you may still fall sick to the illness that you have been immunised against, but it is usually a much less severe form of the original illness or a different subtype. In addition, not everyone’s immune system or body responds the same way and occasionally you may need an extra booster. It is best to discuss your specific circumstances with your doctor.
