Dr Nedal Katib completed his Vascular Surgical training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. This has taken him across a few different training sites including South Australia, NSW and even New Zealand. He has also completed a further fellowship in Belgium in advanced Endovascular and Minimally Invasive Surgery.
During his training, he obtained his Masters in surgical anatomy at Sydney University and has completed his United States Medical Licensing Exams (ECFMG license).Originally from Melbourne, Dr Nedal’s career path started in Dubai U.A.E, after which he graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland before returning to Australia.
Dr Katib’s current positions include Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon in Prince of Wales Hospital NSW, St Vincent’s Hospital NSW, and Southern Highlands Private Hospital in Bowral where he sees patients both publicly and privately. Dr. Nedal also holds positions at Gosford and Wyong hospitals and consults at Goulburn.
His commitment to academia continues and while he currently holds a conjoint lecturer position at the University of New South Wales Medical School, he also has an ongoing commitment to research and clinical trials at the Prince of Wales University Hospital.
