People of any orientation, gender or sexuality are welcome.
People of Aboriginal or Taures Strait Islander background are welcome.
People of any age are welcome.
People of any cultural background are welcome. (Interpreter services are available)

Will I be judged?
No, we understand that as individuals sometimes we find ourselves in difficult situations.
We are here to help you make your decision and then to support you through every step of the way.
What are the steps involved?
Firstly we will book you in for a consultation with our friendly local Doctor. The time is spent discussing your concerns, having a general medical review and then together come up with a plan.
This plan may involve having blood tests (can be done on-site) and arranging for an ultrasound at one of the imaging providers close-by.
A follow up consultation to go over the results and to discuss your options. You are under no obligation to continue down this path if you decide not to.
During this follow up consultation with your doctor, a script may be provided and another follow up appointment organised.
The first tablet will be taken while with your doctor’s support at our practice.
A 2nd tablet will be taken at home (~36 hours after the first tablet). We will still be in touch with you during this period via telehealth.
Follow up in 2 weeks time for your wellbeing.
How long does the whole process take?
Every individual experience is unique but generally it may take between 7 days to 2 weeks.
What if I need help afterhours?
There is a specialised afterhours HOTLINE 1300 515 883 where you can speak to a health professional for after hours advice.
In case of severe symptoms, please call EMERGENCY on 000
Why do I need a follow up 2 weeks later?
- To confirm that the medication has worked
- To make sure there are no retained products in the uterus
- To rule out infection
- To rule out any other potential complications
- To discuss contraception options
- To make sure you are feeling ok
How soon should I come in for an appointment?
Medical termination can be considered an option up until 9 weeks of pregnancy.
We would recommend a general consultation as early as possible to give yourself time to consider the options.
If you are past 9 weeks, then we may be able to refer you onto another service.
